We clinched second prize in the international competition “The Attendance – Reconfiguring Government Schools in India” by Archmello. The competition aimed to address the poor conditions of government schools in India through architecture by proposing a Model School replicated nationwide. Our design supports forward-looking educational programs with flexible planning and multidimensional classrooms. It fosters core skills like creativity and communication while allowing teachers to innovate. Additionally, the school promotes community engagement with a spacious Community Centre hosting town-wide events. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the design prioritizes student and teacher health with seamless indoor-outdoor transitions and cross ventilation. This ensures an enhanced learning environment and positive impact on student wellness.
